Monday, June 25th 8am -1pm at Fort Macon State park in Atlantic Beach, NC.
Surf clinic for the Morehead City and Beaufort Boys and Girls Clubs. Event sponsored by Action Surf Shop and Knuckleheads Customs. The clinic is an outreach program for underprivileged kids that is done through the Boys and Girls Clubs of Morehead City and Beaufort. This event gives kids a chance to learn to surf that may otherwise not get the chance to. Please note this event is not open to the general public just the members of the Morehead City and Beaufort Boys and Girls Clubs. No beach entries will be accepted.
We are in need of 40 + volunteers for this event so please share this event with your friends. We are currently in need of surf instructors, beach marshals and volunteers to help on the beach. Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older. Volunteers will need to arrive by 8am for setup and for the safety meeting on June 25th. We ask that all Volunteers wear a red shirt and if you have any old red BPSF Clinic shirts bring them so we may recycle them to other volunteers. Also any boards you can bring for kids to learn on would be greatly appreciated.
If interested please contact Joseph Michael Holleman by message on Facebook, email at mhsurfdog@hotmail.com or by phone at (252)241-0650. Please message me that you will definatly be there even if you are a regular we need a exact head count to make sure we have enough volunteers! Thanks!
